Foreign Economic Activity Office is the coordinating unit of the International Collaboration Department and it works out the strategy of international activity of the University till 2020 (in flow of funds from foreign economic activities of the University).

The main objectives of the Office are:

  • Participation in the development of the strategy of foreign economic activity of the University;
  • Coordination of the actions of structural units of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, which are related to foreign economic activity;
  • Study of the foreign market conditions of education services and building of a portfolio of education services offered by the University with a view to streamlining the process of a transfer of education services;
  • Coordination of the elaboration and implementation of measures to build up the commercial presence of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute abroad;
  • Coordination of the creation of joint entities by Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute with foreign partners both in Ukraine and abroad;
  • Promotion of cooperation with outside organizations (government authorities, customs authorities, certification bodies, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, etc.) in matters of foreign economic activity of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute;
  • Assistance to arrange export-import transactions and make them efficient;
  • Enhancement of University’s competitiveness abroad;
  • Analysis of competitors in the international market for education and research services, their strengths and weaknesses;
  • Legal protection of economic interests of the University;
  • Drafting of legal documents necessary to carry out foreign economic activity of the University;
  • Advice and explanatory work on foreign economic activity.
