Online Panel Discussion “Strenghthening Gender Equality in Generative AI”

The United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) invites you to an online panel discussion, taking place on the margins of the 68th session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW68), which aims to facilitate a discourse on academic research related to generative A.I. with a specific focus on advancing, promoting, and safeguarding gender equality. It will delve into the incorporation of human flaws, such as gender bias, into generative A.I. systems and emphasize the responsibility of academia and users in ensuring gender equality within these applications.

The UNAI is an initiative that engages institutions of higher education with the United Nations in supporting and contributing to the realization of the Organization’s purposes and principles and the Sustainable Development Goals. Since 2010, UNAI has created a vibrant network of over 1,600 member institutions in more than 150 countries connecting students, academics, scientists, and researchers representing a global diversity of regions and a wealth of academic disciplines.
