ATHENA Proposes to Study at the EMINENT Master’s Program

The Erasmus Mundus Master’s Programme EMINENT (European Master on Embedded Intelligence Nanosystems Engineering) extends the application deadline and invites Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute students to join students from ATHENA universities and receive a scholarship.

Interested students should apply ASAP!

The link to the application and all the information about the admission requirements and the evaluation process is on the EMINENT website: https://eminent-master.eu.

The new Erasmus Mundus Master’s program EMINENT (European Master on Embedded Intelligence Nanosystems Engineering) is now open for application

Four ATHENA universities, the University of Siegen, the Hellenic Mediterranean University, the University of Orléans, and VILNIUS TECH collaborate in this joint degree program together with the New University of Lisbon (Portugal). The first semester starts in October 2024.

EMINENT offers a holistic education in embedded intelligence nanosystems engineering. It combines advanced training starting from the nanoscale material and device technology to the computing architectures of intelligent sensing elements, including the perspectives of macroscale integrated systems and meaningful IoT application areas. It joins excellent research and innovation-oriented educational expertise in a truly European environment.

Students spend the first year of their Master’s at the Hellenic Mediterranean University (first semester) and the University of Siegen (second semester), where they learn about functional materials (Hellenic Mediterranean University) and sensors, devices, and embedded systems (University of Siegen). The second year takes place at the institution providing the specialization chosen by the student. They can select from a total of five different specialization tracks:

  • Functional Materials with Optoelectronic Properties (Hellenic Mediterranean University)
  • Embedded Intelligent Sensorics (University of Siegen)
  • Natural Materials and Biosensors (New University of Lisbon)
  • Internet of Things (University of Orléans)
  • Sensor Systems and Data Processing (VILNIUS TECH)
