KPI delegation participates in Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit 2024

At the invitation of the President of the Polish Educational Foundation Perspektywy, Dr. Bianka Sywinska, students and staff of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (KPI) take part in the sixth largest conference for women in STEM, Tech & IT in Europe and Asia – Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit 2024, which will be held on June 12-13, 2024 in Warsaw at the EXPO XXI exhibition center.

Organizers have invited 120 students from KPI and other Ukrainian universities. The participation of the Ukrainian delegation in the Summit is free of charge at the expense of the Polish Educational Foundation Perspektywy. Perspektywy offer Ukrainian attendees a free tickets to participate in the conference online.

The Summit will be attended by 10,000 students, professionals and leaders in the realm of new technologies, 500 leading industry experts, as well as 100 largest technology companies and the best technical universities from Poland and the world.

Two intensive days of the conference, full of knowledge and experience exchange, involve five stages of the EXPO XXI exhibition centre and 150 excellent speakers, 60 workshops and more than 500 individual mentoring sessions, as well as a Job Fair with many attractive vacancies and industry networking.

The slogan of the 2024 Summit is “Tech Life Balance”, and its leading topics will include quantum computing, human-machine interaction, neurodiversity, data science, artificial intelligence and machine learning, deep technologies, cloud solutions, as well as digital ecology and cybersecurity.

The special guest of honour is Slawosz Uznański, a project astronaut of the European Space Agency, an outstanding scientist responsible for special flights and projects.

The 2024 Summit will further the idea of sustainable development, launched two years ago as the first large-scale event in Poland that is positively balanced in terms of climate, minimizing and offsetting the entire carbon footprint. This year’s Summit participants will be the first to actively join the efforts to restore wetlands.

This event is focused on female students, and it is their involvement and enthusiasm that is driving the Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit 2024. The content presented at the event is optimized for this target group, and for the students themselves. Participation in the event is a chance to direct their careers, learn about the offers of leading companies, global trends in new technologies, and the opportunity to meet prominent industry experts and political figures of the Republic of Poland.
