Kyiv Polytechnic welcomes UK Labour MPs
During their visit to Kyiv, UK Labour MPs visited the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, recognizing the university’s strong educational, scientific, and research potential.
Discussions focused on fostering future cooperation between Kyiv Polytechnic and the UK, including:
– Prospective partnerships with British universities;
– Development of science parks in collaboration with UK colleagues;
– Strengthening ties with British companies, enterprises, and businesses.
The university administration received positive feedback from the visiting Labour MPs. In particular, Phil Brickell, MP for Bolton West and member of the Foreign Affairs Committee, commended the administration’s work on the new Fincord Polytech Science Park and expressed keen interest in exploring collaboration with British businesses. David Taylor, MP for Hemel Hempstead, emphasized their commitment to facilitating deeper ties between Kyiv Polytechnic and institutions in the UK.
This visit marks a significant step forward in strengthening academic and research ties between Ukraine and the UK.
