18.09.2025/
During a recent visit to the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, representatives of NZIA Connect Inc., an innovative South Korean telecom start-up and a partner of the university, issued certificates of personalised scholarships to third-year students of the Faculty of Radio Engineering, Ivan Kuznetsov and Maxym Taliar, on the occasion of the Republic of Korea’s National Liberation Day.
The scholarships, to be paid until the end of their studies including the last semester, were awarded for:
academic excellence;
research and publications in national and international journals;
active participation in competitions, hackathons, and science olympiads.
The meeting also explored prospects for further scientific cooperation between NZIA Connect Inc. and Kyiv Polytechnic, with a focus on activities related to joint projects and their grant funding. It was agreed that on completion of the joint project in 2026, one of the Kyiv Polytechnic students would be invited to pursue an internship at this company.
Special thanks are due to NZIA Connect Inc. (NZIA is an abbreviation of “NJIA”, which means “road” in African Swahili) for affording opportunities that help talented students of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute to reach their potential in the realm of high technologies.
