Henceforth, 43 panels, each with a capacity of 580 watts, will ensure the uninterrupted operation of the Center for the Collective Use of Scientific Equipment \u201cMaterials Science of Refractory Compounds and Composites\u201d housed in IMSW academic building No. 9. In particular, the Center includes modern laboratories for Rigaku X-ray diffractometric analysis and mass spectrometry, sample preparation, as well as optical and electron microscopy.<\/p><p>This became possible through the cooperation between the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. A bilateral agreement worth 1.4 million Ukrainian hryvnias was concluded in October 2024 to develop the scientific infrastructure, and the installation of solar panels on the roof of the Institute\u2019s building was completed in January 2025.<\/p><p>With this achievement, Kyiv Polytechnic takes another vital step toward energy independence and sustainability.
