The international workshop \u2018Remote Labs with Focus on Ukraine\u2019 took place at the Poland\u2019s Wroc\u0142aw University of Science and Technology on 23\u201324 June 2025.<\/strong><\/p>

Representatives from the Institute of Mechanical Engineering and the International Collaboration Department of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute attended the event.<\/p>

The workshop was organised within the framework of the project Developing Remote Labs with Focus on Ukraine, funded by the T.I.M.E. Association (Top International Managers in Engineering).<\/p>

The project is carried out by a consortium of three leading universities: Sweden\u2019s KTH Royal Institute of Technology (project coordinator), Wroc\u0142aw University of Science and Technology, and Kyiv Polytechnic.<\/p>

Remote laboratories, as a key component of digital education, enable students and researchers to access and operate experimental equipment online regardless of physical location.<\/p>

During the workshop, faculty members from European universities shared their expertise and underwent training in developing remote laboratories as an integral part of engineering education.<\/p>

The Kyiv Polytechnic delegation contributed actively by organising a roundtable discussion on the prospects for further cooperation.<\/p>

The significance of this event is hard to overstate, as its topic is particularly relevant in wartime, when ensuring access to quality education becomes both a formidable challenge and a vital necessity.<\/p>
