Sylvia Feil<\/strong>, a member of the Media Didactics team at the Center for Quality of Teaching and Learning at Leibniz Universit\u00e4t Hannover. She shared practical approaches to increasing student engagement through the use of digital technologies, interactive tools, and modern teaching methods.<\/p><p data-start=\"835\" data-end=\"1333\">During the seminar, participants explored the approaches of Leibniz Universit\u00e4t Hannover to the development of teaching and learning, including the <strong data-start=\"983\" data-end=\"1008\">Teaching Constitution<\/strong>\u2014a document that outlines the shared values, principles, and strategic directions of the educational process at the university. Particular attention was paid to competence-based learning, the active role of students, the development of critical thinking, interdisciplinarity, and the use of innovative pedagogical approaches.<\/p><p data-start=\"1335\" data-end=\"1653\">The seminar also covered key principles of effective teaching, including activating prior knowledge, ensuring clear course structure, effective communication, and providing feedback. Participants discussed active learning methods such as <strong data-start=\"1573\" data-end=\"1594\">one-minute papers<\/strong>, small group work, surveys, and interactive digital tools.<\/p><p data-start=\"1655\" data-end=\"1914\">In addition, the seminar addressed the concept of <strong data-start=\"1705\" data-end=\"1725\">blended learning<\/strong>, its advantages and challenges in higher education, as well as the <strong data-start=\"1793\" data-end=\"1821\">Challenge-Based Learning<\/strong> approach as a tool for developing practical competencies through real-world problem-solving.<\/p><p data-start=\"1916\" data-end=\"2192\">Special attention was given to the role of syllabi in the educational process.
