  1. Visit of Baykar Makina company to Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute  

Within the walls of our university, there was an important meeting between representatives of the Igor Sikorsky KPI and Baykar Makina Turkish company. The purpose of the visit was to discuss aspects of cooperation. This time, during the meeting, the parties agreed to create a joint educational and scientific center for the development of unmanned aerospace vehicles on the basis of the Institute of Aerospace Technologies of the Igor Sikorsky KPI. This Center will carry out educational, scientific and innovative activities.

  1. Webinar”Entrepreneurship and Leadership” 

The second webinar within the framework of the Academy of Digital Technologies and Entrepreneurship was initiated by Igor Sikorsky KPI specialists in cooperation with the GISU Alliance. During this fall, our university will present its lectures prepared jointly with foreign partners on the development of leading areas of digital technology in English for partners of the Academy of Digital Technologies and Entrepreneurship, which will be conducted online using Zoom application.   1. Chevening Scholarship  

Chevening is a great opportunity for all ambitious people who would like to receive a scholarship for a master’s degree in the UK. The program is offered for representatives of different specialties without age restrictions. It has already been used by more than 450 Ukrainians and more than 50,000 people around the world. The Chevening program provides a full scholarship covering tuition (usually one-year master’s programs), accommodation, flight and visa.   1. Golden honors for employees of Igor Sikorsky KPI 

The section of students of Kyiv Polytechnic in Poland awarded Marina Miroshnichenko, head of the field of work with rare and valuable documents of the library of Igor Sikosky KPI, and Dmytro Stefanovych, editor-in-chief of the newspaper Kyiv Polytechnic, Gold honors for significant contribution to the development of technical cooperation between Ukraine and Poland. Today KPI cooperates with a number of Polish technical universities, implementing joint projects.

  1. KPI students won a grant 

Graduates of the Department of Machine Design of Igor Sikorsky KPI Alexei Sontsev and Anton Yakhno won a grant from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research of Germany in the amount of $10,000 for the development of the multi-material 3D-printer called SmartZavod. The guys created a 3-D printer in which all the operating movements that previously needed human presence were automated. The printer can be controlled remotely. We are proud of such talents! 

  1. Congratulations on the 72nd anniversary of the creation of the People’s Republic of China 

Today, China is a leading state in the global economy and politics and is an example for many developing countries. On October 1, China celebrated its 72nd anniversary. This day started a new era in the life of the Chinese people, cemented its age-old aspirations for national revival, economic growth, and cultural growth. Igor Sikorsky KPI joins the congratulations of the whole world. We wish peace and prosperity, health, happiness, and prosperity, as well as new successes and prosperity of our native land!
