Information letter of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated May 27, 2022 №51

Dear colleagues!

We bring to your attention excerpts on international activities from the next Information Letter of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

The Fulbright Program in Ukraine offers Ukrainian researchers research at US universities, research, and research institutions for 3 to 9 months. Areas of specialization: humanities, social, exact, technical and natural sciences.

The deadline for submission of documents is October 15, 2022. You can get acquainted with the requirements for candidates, criteria and conditions here.

Opportunity for distance internship in Germany: Hanse-Wirtschaftskolleg – Institute for Advanced Studies – supports Ukrainian scientists and offers scholarships to researchers who have been hampered by the war in Ukraine so that they can continue their research. Requirements: Candidates must have a doctorate (or equivalent) and work at a Ukrainian university or research institute before the war. The funding period is from 6 to 10 months. The amount of funding is 1,500 euros per month.

New competitions from the Max Planck Society. As part of special events to support Ukrainian scientists, the Max Planck Society has launched two special new competitions to promote science. Read the conditions:

SPECIAL CALL FOR NOMINATIONS FOR MAX PLANCK PARTNER GROUPS WITH UKRAINE FOR POSTDOCS / YOUNG FACULTY
Scholarship program for Ukrainian scientists Leibniz Institute for Educational Media | Georg Eckert Institute (GEI). In the first period (2016-2018) 25 specialists took part in the program. In view of the situation in Ukraine, applications will continue to be accepted, despite the fact that the application deadline expired in September 2021.
POLISH INNOVATION ECOSYSTEM
INVITES UKRAINIAN STARTUPS TO COOPERATE

The Polish-Ukrainian Startup Bridge has announced assistance to 15 Ukrainian startups seeking temporary shelter in Poland or already there. Applications for participation are accepted until June 6, 2022.

Main requirements for startups:

the founders of the project are Ukrainians,
the startup is in the early stages of development (pre-seed or seed),
projects that contribute to the reconstruction of Ukraine will be a priority,
the founders are fluent in English.
