The BUP Student Conference: Changed circumstances and new threats for sustainability in the Baltic Sea Region

The Baltic University Programme’s Coordinating Secretariat at Uppsala University has announced the BUP’s Student Conference ‘Changed circumstances and new threats for sustainability in the Baltic Sea Region’.

The conference takes place 15-18 April in Poznan, Poland at Poznan University of Technology.

This year’s conference is organised within the RESCUU (Resilience of Education: Sustainability and Cooperation for Ukrainian Universities) project which is focused on contributing to the resilience of Ukraine’s educational institutions during wartime and supporting Ukrainian teachers, students and researchers. Thus the main focus of the conference is war in Ukraine and new threats for Baltic Sea Region.

The conference aims to:

  • present the effects of the war in Ukraine within various fields;
  • problematise the effects of the war in Ukraine within a wider European context.

A number of partners have contributed actively to this conference, including Uppsala University, Poznan University of Technology, National Technical University of Ukraine ‘Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute’, National University ‘Kyiv-Mohyla Academy’.

The conference is free of charge. Application deadline is February 25.
