ATHENA invites environmental scientists to attend a virtual lunch

The UNESCO Chair on Sustainable Management of Conservation Areas at the Carinthian University of Applied Sciences (CUAS) has organised a series of virtual lunches that take place every Wednesday at lunchtime (12:30 CET).

The ATHENA Alliance partners are invited to share their experiences at one of these virtual lunches. Various representatives from grassroots initiatives, international organisations and the scholary world give a short impuls on nature conservation in the 21st century and contribute to the lunchtime discussion. The statements are recorded and made available for download far beyond lunchtime.

If you are just curious and would like to attend a virtual lunch, please contact Monika Auinger via email at m.auinger@fh-kaernten.at to get added to the mailing list and receive information the next guests and topics.

If you would like to speak, please send the general topic you would like to talk about to Melissa Pebayle at m.pebayle@fh-kaernten.at.

You can find more information on the CUAS UNESCO Chair and see all previous sessions here.

The UNESCO Chair also presented their work in an ATHENA Talk last year with a presentation on “Biodiversity as key driver for innovation – Recent advances in BioDivTecs”. You can rewatch it here.
