KPI students are among winners of international сontest”Black Sea Science 2024″

In March 2024, the second stage of the international contest of student scientific papers “Black Sea Science” took place. The contest was held at the Odessa National Polytechnic University under the auspices of the Black Sea Universities Network and the ISEKI-Food Association.

This year, 362 papers were submitted to the contest , including research from universities in Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Georgia, Kazakhstan, and other countries. The evaluation of the works was carried out by 144 scientists representing various fields of science.

The contest was held in the following areas:

  • Food science and technology;
  • Economics and management;
  • Information technology, automation, and robotics;
  • Energy and energy efficiency;
  • Ecology and environmental protection;
  • Tourism and hotel-restaurant business.

Among the winners are students from the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute:

  • Konstantin Gryshyn (Faculty of Applied Mathematics) with the paper “Strategy for implementing a digital twin at an enterprise during the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine”;
  • Sofia Drozd (Faculty of Applied Mathematics) with the paper “Automated detection and assessment of damage to agricultural fields caused by war using satellite images”;
  • Angela Symonenko (Faculty of Management and Marketing) with the paper “Implementation of innovative Industry 4.0 technologies for the reconstruction of Ukraine’s energy sector”;
  • Hlib Skopyk (Faculty of Applied Mathematics) with the paper “The problem of optimizing the number of logic elements required to implement multiple Boolean functions using a decoder”;
  • Student from China Shi Dailu (Faculty of Management and Marketing) with the paper “Assessment of the impact of green lending on the credit risks of Chinese banks”;

Student from China Shan Jin (Faculty of Management and Marketing) presented the research results “Analysis of the competitiveness of Ukrainian organic agricultural exports to the EU” (prepared in English) and received a certificate of participation in this competition.
