Published a new collection titled Functional Magnetic and Spintronic Nanomaterials by Springer Publishing

Springer has published a new scientific collection titled Functional Magnetic and Spintronic Nanomaterials, edited by the Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Materials Science and Welding named after Y.O. Paton, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Ihor Vladimirskiy, along with leading international scientists: Professor Burkard Hillebrands and Dr. Oleksandr Serga (University of Kaiserslautern-Landau, Germany), Dr. Denys Makarov (Helmholtz Center in Dresden, Germany), and Professor Oleksandr Prokopenko (Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv).

The collection consists of 10 chapters highlighting modern advances in the research of nanoscale functional magnetic materials and spintronic materials. A significant portion of the materials included in the collection were presented during the international workshop Functional Spintronic Nanomaterials for Radiation Detection and Energy Harvesting, held on September 25-27, 2023, with financial support from NATO’s “Science for Peace and Security” program, and co-organized by Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
