International game development competition CtrI+AIt+Disinfo

In January-May 2025, Ukraine will host a large-scale international game jam CtrI+AIt+Disinfo, organized as part of the United with Ukraine Game Jam grant project with the support of the U.S. Department of State. The goal of the event is to create innovative games that will promote critical thinking, digital literacy, and awareness of disinformation.

The competition is open to Ukrainian citizens who have reached the age of 18. Younger participants need a written permission from their parents or an authorized person. Registration is free of charge.

The winning teams will receive cash prizes: the main prize is USD 200,000. In addition, there are 20 microgrants of $1,000 each.

The game jam attracts specialists from various fields: from technical specialists to humanities. It is a great opportunity for interdisciplinary cooperation, development of project and communication skills, and creative growth.

Details and the registration form are available at unitedwithukraine.games. The Ukrainian version of the competition terms and schedule is available at ggj.org.ua.
