In Stockholm, Kyiv Polytechnic cyber talents win Säkerhets-SM CTF Finals 2026
The dcua team from the Institute of Physics and Technology of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute shone supreme at the finals of the Säkerhets-SM Capture The Flag (CTF) competition in Stockholm, establishing itself as the strongest team not only in Ukraine but across the world. The Kyiv Polytechnic students outperformed their peers from Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, as well as other Ukrainian teams.
The unstoppable cyber talents of Kyiv Polytechnic demonstrated true teamwork and the skill to tackle tricky tasks with confidence in the areas of programming, cryptography, binary exploitation, reverse engineering, web security and forensics.
Their victory has testified to the fact that Kyiv Polytechnic continues to strengthen its position as a national leader in cybersecurity education. The university nurtures specialists who are shaping the future of Ukraine’s cybersecurity, scoring signal triumphs on the international arena.
Congratulations to the junior members of the dcua team who achieved the best result: Anzhelika Beliantseva, Maksym Hinkul and Kostiantyn Puzikov.
