During the past day (May 15-16, 2022), the administration and the Operational Headquarters of the University focused their efforts on solving the following tasks:

1. In KPI dormitories, the past day passed without extraordinary events.
The crossing regime was monitored by staff and volunteer students, dormitories were provided with everything necessary;

2. Carrying out of emergency repair works of city heating networks of KP “Kyivteploenergo” is completed and hot water supply in dormitories 7, 8, 12, 16 and 17 is restored;

3. The emergency dispatch station worked round the clock in the campus, which, if necessary, performed preventive measures and promptly repaired the engineering networks of dormitories;

4. KPI students – volunteers of territorial defense carried guards at checkpoints around the perimeter of the university and provided other assistance to territorial defense in the Solomyansky district;

5. Law and order were properly ensured on the territory of the KPI. There were reinforced posts of the National Police, the Territorial Defense, the KPI Security Department, and two car patrols;

6. The Task Force of the KPI Security Department bypassed 1, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 11, 15, 16, 17, 24, 27, 28, 30, 32, 35th educational buildings and the Center of Culture and Arts, re-inspected roofs and basements;

8. Employees of Kyivteploenerho finished restoring the improvement near the power wing of the first educational building after the emergency works of the city heating network;

During the past day (May 12-13, 2022), the administration and the Operational Headquarters of the University focused their efforts on solving the following tasks:

1. A round table was held to discuss the prospects for the development of educational, scientific and innovative environment of KPI. Igor Sikorsky and the role of the Scientific and Technical Library in it. Profile vice-rectors and heads of departments took part;

2. The team and experts of the Center 4.0 at Igor SikorskyKPI together with APPAU held a webinar for small and medium-sized businesses on current in May-June open competitions on Industry 4.0: digital duplicates, composite materials, green energy, etc .;

3. The European Commission has announced the launch of a scholarship scheme for Ukrainian scientists MSCA4Ukraine. This will allow Igor Sikorsky KPI scientists to acquire new skills, temporarily continue his scientific work abroad, and after the war to continue the research initiated abroad at the KPI;

4. A working meeting was held at the Civil Defense Headquarters of the Solomianska District State Administration in Kyiv, where the algorithm of close cooperation of the Civil Defense Headquarters of the district with representatives of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine was discussed and worked out;

5. A master class called “Treasury” was held for 11 children who are in the shelters of the University and live in the 5th, 21st and 22nd family dormitories and treats with sweets were organized;

2. A working meeting was held with the participation of Igor Sikorsky KPI specialists (FEL) and two academic institutes of NASU, which discussed the implementation of joint promising scientific and technical projects;

3. Based on the results of participation in the Online Bar Camp for Ukrainian Higher Education Managers, information posted on international and domestic platforms on the possibilities of grant funding for innovation is processed;

4. A career guidance meeting was held – a presentation with future entrants and parents of Physics Lyceum # 142;

5. A council on housing and social issues was held, at which positive decisions were made regarding the placement of relatives of students from the occupied territories in the dormitory;

6. The scholarship commission of the university was held;

7. Representatives of the technical and construction commission checked the material and technical condition of the recreation centers “Sosnovy” and “Polytechnic”, and determined the plan of renewable repair work for May;

1. Igor Sikorski KPI Support Fund received funds from the KPI Alumni Section in Poland. We truly thank our Polish colleagues;

2. For projects financed by the National Research Fund of Ukraine in cooperation with the leaders prepared and sent to the NRFU letters on the possibility and conditions of their further implementation;

3. A workshop with experts of the 4.0 Center was held jointly with APPAU, where the issues of Industry 4.0 grant promotion techniques were discussed;

4. A career guidance meeting of schoolchildren with a student of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Aerospace Technologies Fedor Chornobrivtsev was held within the framework of
KPIAbitTalks;

5. A socially unifying event “Reanimating home and office plants together” was held for employees and students;

6. Representatives of the Department of Labor Protection took part in a working meeting of the Main Department of State Labor in Kyiv on the organization of labor protection in martial law;

During the past day (May 9-10, 2022), the administration and the Operational Headquarters of the University focused their efforts on solving the following tasks:

1. Prepared and submitted for accreditation case for the educational program at the level of Doctor of Philosophy (specialty 125) “Cybersecurity”;

2. At the request of the Ministry of Education and Science, the Information for 2021 on the directions of formation of the topics of scientific research and scientific and technical (experimental) developments corresponding to promising areas has been prepared;

3. A council on housing and social issues was held to make positive decisions on the placement in dormitories of employees who lost their homes and relatives of students from the occupied territories;

4. Yana Kalisetska, a first-year student of the FTI, went to the International Tournament of Physicists in Colombia as a member of the team of Ukrainian students, which will take place on May 9-14, 2022. (The team consists of 6 students from 3 Ukrainian universities: Igor Sikorsky KPI, KNU named after T. Shevchenko, Karazin KhNU ). We wish them victory;

5. Progrestech Ukraine has started registration for the dual training program for masters in two educational and professional fields of choice:

During the past day (May 7-8, 2022), the administration and the Operational Headquarters of the University focused their efforts on solving the following tasks:

1. A consultative seminar-meeting with those responsible for the formation of curricula from the faculties and departments. In total, the meeting was attended by about 150 participants, who summed up the interim results of the campaign to choose disciplines and prepare for the new school year;

2. A meeting of the Commission on Scientific and Innovative Activities was held, at which the issues of analysis of scientific schools of KPI named after Igor Sikorsky;

3. A working meeting was held on the strategic prospects for the development of the Scientific and Technical Library and its services as part of the educational, scientific and innovative ecosystem of the university;

4. Representatives of KPI took part in the Online Bar Camp for Ukrainian Higher Education Managers, organized jointly by the University of Münster and the University of Leibniz in Hanover (Germany). The event is designed for managers of science and education. Problems and proposals for the support of scientists who went abroad were discussed;

5. The Faculty of Linguistics held an Open Day online;

6. At the initiative of students and at the request of the volunteer organization “Common Cause” the humanitarian headquarters of the university collected and donated aid to residents of villages around the village of Makarov (food);

7. The management and administration of the Solomyansky district police together with the KPI administration held a meeting to discuss and develop a set of enhanced security measures to ensure law and order at the university in the period from 7 to 9 May;

During the past day (May 6-7, 2022), the escalation of hostilities along the entire line of contact continued. Bloody fighting continued in the Kharkiv region in Donetsk, Luhansk, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhia, and Dnipropetrovsk regions. In the Kharkiv and Izyum directions, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a counteroffensive. Liberated 5 settlements.

Artillery and missile strikes were inflicted on infrastructure facilities and the housing sector in Kharkiv, Rivne, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhia oblasts and other regions of the country. The Ukrainian air defense repulsed them.

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Estonia Eva-Maria Liimetz, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia Edgars Rinkevics and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania Gabrielius Landsbergis.
He thanked for the strong support of Ukraine. He addressed the parliament and the people of Iceland. He thanked for the support of Ukraine and offered to expand cooperation in the energy sector. On Infantry Day, he presented awards to the military and members of the families of fallen defenders, who were awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine, as well as the first Knights of the Cross of Military Merit, including Holocaust Commander Valery Zaluzhny.

According to Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk, another exchange of prisoners took place today. 28 military, 13 civilians, a total of 41 people were returned, including 11 women. Among those released was the rector of the PCU church.

With the participation of the UN and the International Red Cross, the evacuation of civilians from the Azovstal plant continued. UN Under-Secretary-General and Emergency Relief Coordinator Martin Griffiths said more than half a thousand people had been evacuated in the past three days.

The Rectorate and the Operational Headquarters of the University focused their efforts on solving the following tasks:

1. A meeting of the admissions committee of the university was held. The peculiarities of admission to the KPI this year were discussed and the action plan was approved.

2. At the initiative of the Trade Union of Students and a charity Fair was held. Thanks to the consolidation of KPIshniks, it was possible to raise UAH 16,000. for the Armed Forces;

3. Intensified work in the field of career guidance, conducted: the next KPIAbitTalks with student Gamaliy Ivan on the topic “Security of information resources”;

4. As part of career guidance work, meetings were held with representatives of schools (entrants, parents, teachers) in Gorenichi, Chernihiv, and Vinnytsia;

5. HTF Open Day was held;

6. Events commemorating the Day of Remembrance and Victory over Nazism in the Second World War were agreed upon.
The event was attended by representatives of the Solomyansk District State Administration in Kyiv, headed by Iryna Romanovna Chechotka, the university administration, trade union representatives, veterans, teachers, students and guests. The UN and the Red Cross have sent another rubber convoy to evacuate Azovstal. This was stated by UN Under-Secretary-General and Emergency Relief Coordinator Martin Griffiths. “Now, the convoy is going to Azovstal, where it should be tomorrow morning. We hope to pick up those who survived this hell and bring them to safety,” he said.

2. An online conference was held with the Vice President of the International University Ranking Organization (IREG) Waldemar Sewinski and the management of the Polish PERSPEKTYWY Foundation. The possibility of creating consortia for joint projects “Horizon Europe”, assistance with an expert evaluation of such projects, and participation of Ukrainian students/graduate students in the international conference in Warsaw on June 7-8, 2022 “Woman in Tech Summit” were discussed.

4. In order to provide opportunities for modeling the impact of indicators and results of attestation of free economic zones in terms of their scientific activities, organized work on the preparation of initial data for appropriate testing and analysis on the example of Igor Sikorsky KPI;

5. A meeting of the Budget Commission was held, at which decisions were made on the criteria for establishing and the amount of incentives for the month of May for University staff and the cost of training for the 2022/2023 academic year for higher education;

During the past day (May 4-5, 2022), the escalation of hostilities along the entire line of contact continued. Bloody fighting continued in the Kharkiv region in Donetsk, Luhansk, Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi had a telephone conversation with the Secretary-General of the United Nations Antonio Guterres. 1. The team of the Igor Sikorsky KPI Center 4.0 met with the developers of the startup “SMARTZAVOD” on opportunities for cooperation, including participation in international projects, which include the creation of consortiums “DIH-SME” and financing the development of technology 4.0 Industry .;

2. A video meeting was held with the Rector of Poznan Polytechnic Prof. Teofil Yasinovsky on cooperation in the field of project-grant activities, in particular on space issues;

4. Advanced training course for 29 young scientists “International projects: writing, submission, implementation” has been launched. Such courses will increase the effectiveness of international project-grant activities with the participation of young scientists;

Over the past day (April 18-19, 2022), according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, hostilities intensified along the entire line of contact in the Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, and Kherson regions. Missile strikes were inflicted on the Kyiv region and the cities of Kharkiv, Mykolayiv, and Lviv. In Lviv, 7 civilians were killed and 11 wounded, including one child.

The heroic defense of the besieged Mariupol continued. The Ukrainian military rejected the ultimatum to surrender.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi President Volodymyr Zelenskyi handed over a completed questionnaire to the head of the European Union Delegation to Ukraine, Matti Maasikas, in order to obtain Ukraine’s EU candidate status. He discussed with the President of Lithuania Gitanas Nauseda, the Prime Ministers of Bulgaria and Croatia the situation in the war zone and in Mariupol, ways to effectively support Ukraine. For the past 24 hours (April 17-18, 2022), according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, active hostilities took place in Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, and Kherson regions. The cities of Kharkiv and Brovary in the Kyiv region were bombed. Five civilians were killed and 15 were injured. The defenders of Mariupol continued their heroic defense. They refused to surrender.

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi congratulated the Christians of Ukraine of the Western Rite on the occasion of Easter. He held a meeting with the military and government officials on military action in the Donbas. He stated that Ukraine would not give up Donbas to end the war. He spoke with the Director of the IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva about ensuring Ukraine’s financial stability. Over the past 24 hours (April 16-17, 2022), according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, active hostilities took place in Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, and Kherson regions. The cities of Kharkiv and Lysychansk were subjected to large-scale bombing. There are casualties among the civilian population. The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has hit seven air targets in the past 24 hours: one plane, one helicopter, three UAVs, and two cruise missiles. The defenders of Mariupol continued their heroic defense.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with servicemen of the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection and presented them with state awards. He held a meeting dedicated to the reconstruction of destroyed cities, with energy modernization of housing and providing it to those who need and work for the state. He held talks with the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson and with the Prime Minister of Sweden Magdalena Anderson. Over the past 24 hours (April 15-16, 2022), according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, active hostilities took place in Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk and Kherson regions. Kharkiv and Mykolayiv were subjected to large-scale missile and bomb strikes. There are numerous civilian casualties.

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with members of the Government and representatives of the Office of the President on topical issues of economic development in the war. Infrastructure objects and residential areas of Kharkiv, Myrhorod, Chudniv in the Chernihiv region, and other cities of Ukraine were bombed.

The defenders of Mariupol continued their heroic defense.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi met with President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda, President of the Republic of Latvia Egils Levits, President of the Republic of Lithuania Gitanas Nauseda and President of the Republic of Estonia Alar Karis, who are visiting Belarus. He held talks with US President Joseph Biden. He appealed to the Parliament and the people of Estonia. He discussed the next package of financial and defense assistance to Ukraine. He awarded 270 defenders of the Fatherland, 7 of them posthumously, and 2 were awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine.

Over the past day (April 12-13, 2022), according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces, the escalation of hostilities in the South and East of Ukraine has increased.

Infrastructure objects and housing estates in Kharkiv, Derhachi, and Pyatihatky in the Kharkiv region were bombed.

The defenders of Mariupol continued their heroic defense.

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the Lithuanian Parliament. He thanked Ukraine for its help. He held talks with Austrian Chancellor Karl Negammer. He signed a decree on awarding 419 soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 72 of them are posthumous. He also awarded 30 servicemen of the GUR of Ukraine with state awards. Lieutenant Colonel Dmytro Mykolayovych (posthumously) was awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine (posthumously).

Over the past day (April 10-11, 2022), according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces, the escalation of hostilities in the South and East of Ukraine has increased. Attempts to break through Russian troops in the direction of Severodonetsk in the Luhansk region and near the city of Izyum in the Kharkiv region were repulsed. The defenders of Mariupol continue their heroic defense.

The number and intensity of artillery shelling of infrastructure facilities and dormitories of Kharkiv, Mykolayiv, and Dnipro have increased.

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky discussed with the Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz ways to help Ukraine, and gave an interview to the Associated Press. In particular, he stressed that thanks to Ukrainian defenders in the city of Mariupol in the Donetsk region, Ukraine today holds a strong position in the east and has a more confident position in negotiations with the Russian Federation. Over the past 24 hours (April 7-8, 2022), according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the tense situation persisted in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, the Kharkiv region, and southern Ukraine. The Russian army launched missile strikes on defense facilities, logistics infrastructure, and residential areas of Kharkiv and other cities in eastern Ukraine.

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the parliaments and peoples of Greece and Cyprus. He suggested ways to help Ukraine. He noted that together with the people of Kyiv, diplomatic missions of other countries began to return to the capital: the embassies of Slovenia and Turkey, the ambassador of Lithuania. He signed decrees awarding 344 defenders of the Fatherland, 5 of them were awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine.

Procedures for recognizing the results of non-formal / informal education during the martial law regime, procedures, and opportunities for students to choose disciplines for the 2022/2023 academic year have been simplified. New certificate programs and syllabi of general university disciplines were approved, and recommendations on printing educational publications were given.

2. An online open day of the IMZ was held. Similar measures are being prepared in other units;

Over the past 24 hours (April 6-7, 2022), according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the situation in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions and Kharkiv regions remained tense. The Russian army has used missile weapons on defense facilities, logistics infrastructure, and residential areas of cities.

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the Parliament and the people of Ireland. He was assured that this country would support Ukraine’s accelerated accession to the EU. He met with members of the Cabinet. He discussed ways to restore the economy. He appealed to Ukrainians to return to normal life in the liberated and safe areas of the country and to perform their work on the ground. He signed a decree awarding 160 defenders of the Fatherland.

For the past 24hrs (April 5-6, 2022), the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been defending along the entire front line. On the 41st day of the war, Russian troops continue to retreat to the eastern regions of Ukraine and at the same time launched targeted missile strikes throughout the country. The most difficult situation persisted in the Kharkiv direction and in the Donbas. Mariupol is under siege in a state of deep humanitarian crisis.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed a meeting of the UN Security Council. He suggested holding a global conference in Kyiv on the new role of the UN in the world law and order system. He appealed to the Parliament and the people of Spain. He held talks with French President Macron. He stressed that Kyiv is now the capital of global democracy and the struggle for freedom. He gave interviews with leading Ukrainian journalists. He touched upon the tragedy in Bucha and other cities of Ukraine liberated after the occupation. For the past 24hrs (April 4-5, 2022), the Armed Forces of Ukraine have maintained defense along the entire front line. Heavy fighting continued in the Donbas, southern Ukraine, and the Kharkiv region. During the last two virgins rocket blows were struck across Nikolaev. 10 civilians were killed and 46 wounded.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi visited the cities of Stoyanka, Irpin, and Bucha in the Kyiv region, where mass killings of civilians took place during the occupation. The head of state spoke with international and Ukrainian journalists who came to document Russia’s war crimes. He discussed the crimes with European Commission President Ursula von der Lain, Polish President Andrzej Duda, and Austrian Chancellor Karl Negammer. He addressed the Romanian Parliament.

According to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Reintegration of the Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchuk, 3,376 people were evacuated on April 4. For the past 24hrs (April 3-4, 2022), the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been defending the entire front line. Heavy fighting continued in the Donbas, southern Ukraine, and the Kharkiv region. Missile strikes were inflicted on Odesa, Vasylkiv in the Kyiv region, and Mykolayiv. In Nikolaev 1 person was lost, and 11 were hospitalized with injuries, in particular the 15-year-old teenager with injuries of average severity.

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi made a special address on the genocide of civilians in Bucha. He visited the wounded border guards at the Main Military Medical Clinical Center. He talked to the head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Serhiy Deynek and the management of the clinical center. The President presented state awards to eight border guards. They were wounded in battles for Kharkiv, Chernihiv, and Gostomel, as well as in clashes with enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups.

For the past 24hrs (March 30-31, 2022), the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been defending along the entire front line. The Russian military launched a missile strike on the Dnieper. Phosphorus shells were used in the town of Marinka in the Donetsk region. There was no mass withdrawal of troops from the Kyiv and Chernihiv regions.

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held talks with the Presidents of the United States and Egypt, the Crown Prince of the UAE, and addressed the Norwegian Parliament. The main topic of diplomatic talks was assistance to Ukraine.

During the day on March 30, 1530 people were evacuated from the battlefields, including 812 Mariupol residents and 718 residents of the Zaporizhia region. These are residents of Berdyansk, Melitopol, Pologi, Orikhiv, Huliaipil, Vasylivka, and Energodar.

For the past 24hrs (March 29-30, 2022), the Armed Forces of Ukraine have maintained defense along the entire front line. The aggressor inflicted a rocket-bomb blow on Nikolaev. 8 civilians were killed.

The delegations of Ukraine and the Russian Federation held talks in Istanbul on an agreement on the cessation of hostilities. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the withdrawal of Russian troops in the Kyiv and Chernihiv regions has begun in connection with the alleged progress in the negotiations between Ukraine and Russia.

Over the past day (March 26-27, 2022), Ukraine continued to resist along the entire line of defense.

The town of Slavutych was temporarily lost, and the town of Trostyanets in the Sumy Region was liberated. Two missile and bomb attacks were carried out on critical infrastructure facilities in Lviv. Five people were injured. Bloody street fights continued in Mariupol. 300 people died under the rubble of the city’s drama theater.

Over the past day (March 25-26, 2022), Ukraine continued to maintain its position along the entire line of defense. The Armed Forces of Ukraine regained control of part of Kherson.

Important international events related to the war in Ukraine took place: the NATO summit, the G7 summit, the EU summit.

Over the past day (March 23-24, 2022), Ukraine continued to maintain its position along the entire line of defense.

President Zelensky addressed the Parliament of Japan and the French National Assembly with gratitude for the consolidation of these countries with Ukraine and with proposals for further joint efforts in the struggle for the values of freedom, democracy, and justice.

The evacuation of civilians from dangerous areas continued. Of the nine humanitarian corridors, 7 were activated. A total of 4,554 people were evacuated. Ukraine’s international support remained. The European Union unanimously voted in favor of Ukraine’s accession to the common language space. The Ukrainian language will receive qualitatively new protection and in the future will become the EU language along with English, French, and others.

The authoritative international publication Politico named President Zelensky the most influential man in Europe. “Importantly, regular videos on social media and videos in the parliaments of many countries have helped change the nature of the debate in European capitals, leading to changes in the policies of their governments that were unthinkable a few months ago,” the paper said.

Over the past day (March 18-19, 2022), Ukraine continued to maintain its positions along the entire line of defense in a fierce struggle.

On both sides, the troops regrouped, replenished with ammunition and food. Intense clashes took place in the town of Izium in the Kharkiv region. Over the past 24 hours, Ukraine has been fighting hard along the entire line of contact. The fire and shelling of the first power unit and personnel at the Zaporizhzhya NPP caused great concern to the international community. At the request of the President of Ukraine, the UN Security Council plans to hold a meeting in the near future due to the situation around the Zaporizhzhya NPP.

The situation around Kyiv and in the city itself was tense but under control.

Safety and livelihood at the university were maintained at the appropriate level.

The Operational Headquarters of Igor Sikorsky KPI held its regular meeting, which analyzed the current situation with the security and life of the university and decided to address the following urgent issues:

1. Ensuring proper living conditions for people in KPI shelters, supplying medicines, solving other household problems. Catering is organized by the student nutrition center and volunteers from among students and staff of the university.

2. Over the past week, many concerned people have expressed a desire to help KPI staff, their children, and students in need of support at this difficult time. Therefore, the operational headquarters decided to establish the “Igor Sikorsky KPI Support Fund”.

3. The last day on campus was relatively quiet.
The students continued to be in shelters, and the crossing regime was monitored by campus staff and dormitory volunteers.

4. Due to the accident in the networks of Kyivteploenerho, there was a temporary lack of hot water supply and heating in the dormitories №№1,3,4,6,7,10,11,13,13,15,22. After the emergency was resolved, the supply of all utilities was resumed.

5. There was an accident with the heating network in the 8th educational building. Repair and restoration works are currently underway.

6. Energy and heat supply systems, fire safety, alarm systems, engineering networks, and communication systems were re-inspected on the territory of the university and the campus.

7. The National Guard, with the participation of representatives of territorial defense and KPI students, additionally erected protective barricades, reinforced concrete blocks, and anti-tank hedgehogs on the campus;

8. All educational buildings and dormitories were under the 24-hour protection of the Security Department. In close cooperation with the National Police, the National Guard, and representatives of the territorial defense of Kyiv, a set of measures was organized to ensure law and order on the territory of the University.

Over the past day, Ukraine has been fighting hard along the entire line of contact to defend its strategic position, in which our country has gained a moral and operational advantage.

The cities of Kharkiv, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Mykolayiv, and Sumy were bombed.

The situation in Kyiv remained tense but under control.

Safety and livelihood at the university were maintained at the appropriate level.

The operational staff, students and staff of the KPI primarily addressed the following issues:

1. Providing acceptable conditions and providing the necessary assistance to people who are in shelters (medical care, solving urgent household problems). The Center for Student Nutrition and volunteers from among students and staff of the university organized meals for people who were in shelters.

2. At a high level was organized the work of operational headquarters of the units: MMI (Director Grishko VA), FMM (Dean Kravchenko MO), FBT (Dean Todosiychuk TS), FIOT (Dean Telenik SF ), FEA (Dean Yandulsky OS), IMZ (Director Sidorenko YM);

3. The livelihoods and civil protection of the campus residents were ensured at the appropriate level. The students were mostly in shelters. The crossing regime was controlled by staff and volunteer dormitory residents. The dormitories were provided with the necessary utilities.

4. Representatives of the Security Service of Ukraine worked out preventive security measures on campus, talked to employees and residents of dormitories that organize the activities of dormitories. A good level of organization of dormitories and self-organization of residents was noted.

5. In close cooperation with the National Police, the National Guard of Ukraine, representatives of the territorial defense of Kyiv, a set of measures was organized to ensure law and order on the territory of the University. Together with representatives of law enforcement agencies, a preventive visit of all dormitories of the campus and the 25th, 26th and 29th educational buildings was carried out.

6. A group was created in the telegram channel “Territorial Defense of the KPI”, which includes staff, university students and residents of nearby buildings. The purpose of the group is to promptly obtain photos, videos or textual information about the movement of suspects and commit any illegal acts on the territory of the University for further transfer to the relevant law enforcement agencies for operational purposes.

7. Energy, heating, utilities, fire safety, warning and communication systems were under constant control. After the emergency, the power supply was restored in the 5th educational building.

The past day has been tense for Ukraine. The most difficult areas of defense were: Kharkiv, Sumy, Mariupol, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Zhytomyr, Kyiv.

Unfortunately, the university family suffered the first human losses. Defending Kyiv in the ranks of the Armed Forces killed a student of FEA, group EK-zp 91 Dmitro Arsenovich. Defending the city of Bucha killed a graduate of MMI Department of Machine Design, the hero of the ATO Kovalsky Vladimir
We mourn the death of the heroes and express our sincere condolences to their family and friends. Eternal glory to the Heroes!

The situation in Kyiv was under control. At 2 o’clock in the morning, a sabotage and reconnaissance group of 4 people was detained by police near the Polytechnic Institute metro station.

Safety and livelihood at the university were provided at the appropriate level.

The KPI Operational Headquarters, technical services, staff, and students addressed the following issues:

1. Comprehensive assistance was provided to people in shelters (medical care, food, household solutions). The Operational Headquarters expresses its sincere gratitude to FMM Dean Marina Kravchenko and FBT Dean Tetyana Todosiychuk for their financial support and provision of food to people in shelters. Thanks are expressed to the director of MMI Igor Grishko for organizing the work of the shelter of the 1st building;

2. The services and residents of the campus provided proper conditions for its operation. The dormitories were provided with water, heating, and communications. Students continued to be in shelters, the crossing regime was controlled by staff and volunteer dormitory residents;

3. Unfortunately, there was a power outage in dormitories №№1, 12, 13, and 19, as well as a break in the water supply in dormitories №№1,4. All accidents were promptly eliminated by campus technicians;

4. In cooperation with the National Police, the National Guard, and representatives of the territorial defense of Kyiv, a set of measures was organized to ensure law and order and security at the University. All educational buildings and dormitories were under the 24-hour protection of the Security Department;

5. An operational group was set up, which inspected all educational buildings and dormitories on the campus, re-inspected roofs, and common areas;

6. KPI technical services in the buildings and dormitories re-checked the energy and heat supply, fire safety systems, alarm systems, and telephone communication. All these systems operate normally.

Over the past day, Ukraine has defended its main strategic positions. The situation in Kyiv was tense but under control. Safety and livelihood at the university were maintained at the appropriate level. Particular attention was paid to the following issues:

1. Providing acceptable conditions and providing the necessary assistance to people who are in shelters (medical care, nutrition, solving urgent household problems).

2. Ensuring the viability of the campus. As in previous days, civil protection in KPI dormitories was provided at the appropriate level. Dormitory checkpoints were supervised by university staff and students. Heating, water, gas and communication systems worked. Students provided assistance in the construction of protective structures on campus and in the unloading of products in the store “Fora” near the 20th dormitory.

3. Based on the results of cooperation with the National Police, the National Guard and representatives of the Territorial Defense of Kyiv, a set of measures was organized to ensure law and order on the territory of the University. All educational buildings and dormitories were under 24-hour protection. An inspection was carried out during the curfew 4 vehicles that entered the territory of the University;

4. On the territory of the university and the campus, the energy and heat supply systems were re-checked, the operation of reserve lines, fire safety and warning systems was checked. These systems worked normally. Telephone interruptions have started. KPI Telecom employees are working to eliminate these problems.
