Monograph on geomining is out
In October 2024, Springer, a world leading research and educational publisher, released the monograph, Geomining: Systems and Decision-Oriented Perspective, under the editorship of Dr. Azer Shukurov, Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan; Prof. Oksana Vovk, Director of the Institute of Energy Saving and Energy Management at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute; Dr. Artur Zaporozhets, Deputy Director for Scientific Engagement at the General Energy Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine; and Prof. Natalia Zuievska, Acting Head of the Department of Geoengineering at Kyiv Polytechnic’s Institute of Energy Saving and Energy Management. Based on the proceedings of the First International Geology-Mining Forum held in Baku on October 26-27, 2023, this publication is the 224th volume of the book series: Studies in Systems, Decision and Control. The monograph delves into the intricate intersection between geology and mining through the lens of system-oriented perspectives.
