Israeli Ambassador discusses cooperation with Kyiv Polytechnic administration
Michael Brodsky, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to Ukraine, accompanied by Lilia Liakhovych, Coordinator of the Embassy’s Public Diplomacy Department, paid a visit to the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
During the visit, the Ambassador met with Kyiv Polytechnic Rector Anatolii Melnychenko. The Israeli delegation was introduced to the history of one of Ukraine’s foremost technical universities, making a tour of its main building.
Discussions centred on the prospects for cooperation in the development of security technologies, including prospective collaboration with Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, one of the top Israeli universities. The parties also considered the possibility of open lectures and the exchange of experience in the realm of defence capabilities.
The administration of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute presented the university’s key achievements and outlined potential areas of academic and research collaboration.
