ORGANISATION OF TRAINING
The university provides training at all levels of higher education of highly qualified and competitive specialists in the national and international labour markets for enterprises of all forms of ownership, scientific and educational institutions, public authorities, and governments, creating conditions for the realisation of personal potential and the development of creative abilities.
The forms of higher education are:
- Institutional (full-time, part-time, distance, network);
- Dual.
The primary language of instruction at the University is Ukrainian, but courses are also offered in English for international students when study groups are formed. Educational services are provided across 15 faculties and eight institutes.

Educational programmes
The University implements educational, professional, and scientific programmes following the standards of higher education.
The educational programmes define the list of main components and the logical sequence of their study, contain information on the number of ECTS credits, and guidelines for obtaining quality knowledge of the applicant according to his/her degree.

International students pursuing a Bachelor’s degree have access to 24 educational programs offered in English. The list of available study programmes is available at https://istudent.kpi.ua/en/bachelor.
For master’s students, the university provides 30 English-language programmes.

The process of accreditation of the programme is currently underway.
International accreditation is an important stage for our university. It confirms the compliance of the study programme with the requirements of the European Education Quality Assessment System.
Currently, an independent expert group of the Accreditation Commission of Technological Universities has reviewed one of the study programmes, ‘Dynamics and Strength of Machines’, at the Department of Dynamics and Strength of Machines and Resistance of Materials of the Mechanical Engineering Institute of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
These activities support Ukraine’s international integration and serve as a means to implement European norms and standards in education, science, and technology, while also showcasing and promoting Ukraine’s cultural, scientific, and technological achievements within the EU.
Joint educational centres with international companies play an important role in the educational process. By developing cooperation at this level, we allow our students to learn new skills from interesting and useful resources.
The university has already developed many beneficial structures for students. These structures not only influence the internationalisation of the higher education institution but also help students define their own guidelines and find their place among them.
