New lab of Keysight measurements opens at Kyiv Polytechnic
A new educational and research laboratory has been launched at the Faculty of Electronics of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, equipped with the support of Unitest Ltd, Keysight’s authorised distributor in Ukraine.
This is the first collaborative project in Ukraine between Kyiv Polytechnic and Keysight Technologies, the international high-tech leader in test and measurement solutions serving the electronics, aerospace, telecommunications, defence, education and science sectors.
The new laboratory has the following functionality:
- eight fully equipped workstations for students;
- two sets of equipment for postgraduates, capable of remote connection to measuring systems;
- industrial-grade test and measurement equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimetres, current probes, power supplies, electronic loads;
- facilities for designing, testing and analysing electronic circuits;
- signal recording and processing, as well as the analysis of component behaviour under load;
- learning and research using state-of-the-art software.
All the equipment was provided gratis to Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute by Keysight Technologies under the international programme to support Ukrainian science.
