Grape seedlings from the KPI Pupils Section in Poland

On June 16, 2022, students and staff planted 15 Isabella grape seedlings near the building №6 of Igor Sikorsky KPI.

In May, the leadership of the KPI Pupils’ Section in Poland addressed Vice-Rector S. Sydorenko with a proposal to plant grape seedlings on the territory of Igor Sikorsky KPI in the year of celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Polish organization.

The intention of the Section to decorate the native university was gratefully supported by vice-rectors V. Kondratyuk and N. Seminska, students and staff of the LCA, and the Ukrainian-Polish Center of the University.

The Section representative, Mr. Yaroshevsky, shared his years of experience in planting and growing grapes with KPI specialists and handed over 15 seedlings for planting.

Through the joint efforts of the three departments, the seedlings were planted!

In 3 years, we will be able to collect the first harvest.

We are sincerely grateful to all those who helped and supported the exciting offer of planting seedlings and contributed to making the campus green space even greener and more beautiful soon.
