Mykhailo Zgurovsky is an Doctor of Honoris Causa of Poznan Polytechnic

At the meeting of the Academic Senate, the rector of the Poznan University of Technology, Professor Teofil Jasinowski said that the initiative to award the rector of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Mykhailo Zgurovsky the degree of Doctor of Honoris Causa was made by the staff of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering.

Having received positive expert opinions, the Academic Senate of Poznan University of Technology decided to award the degree of Doctor of Honoris Causa for outstanding scientific achievements in the field of cybernetics, system analysis and decision theory, as well as for cooperation with the international academic community.

After the ceremony, Mykhailo Zgurovsky delivered a nomination lecture on the global trends of increasing conflict in the world, revealed as a result of the application of methods of intellectual analysis of big data and system analysis.
