International Environmental Forum “Ecology and Peace”
On May 15-16, 2024, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute will host the International Environmental Forum “Ecology and Peace,” dedicated to addressing the environmental challenges resulting from ongoing full-scale russian aggression.
The organizers of the event are:
- Ukrainian Peace Council
- All-Ukrainian Innovation System “Sikorsky Challenge Ukraine”,
- Council by Environmental Safety
The highlight of the Forum will be the Startup Competition and scientific and technical developments in the environmental sphere, focusing on the following topics:
- Humanitarian demining of territories
- Water and reservoir treatment
- Waste collection and disposal
- Other areas related to environmental safety
This thematic competition serves as an intermediate event within the framework of the International Festival of Innovative Startup Projects “Sikorsky Challenge 2024”, held annually in October.
Teams with promising projects selected by potential customers/investors during the interim Competition will have the opportunity to undergo an acceleration program tailored to these stakeholders, qualify as finalists of the Sikorsky Challenge 2024 International Festival, and receive financial support for their projects.
