Online meeting of representatives of the UNITWIN Programme / UNESCO Chair in Ukraine

On February 27, 2024, an organisational and informational online meeting of representatives of the UNITWIN Programme/UNESCO Chair in Ukraine has taken place.

The meeting was organised in the light of intentions of the Secretariat of the National Commission for UNESCO to intensify activities in the implementation of the Education Sector Improvement Strategy aimed at improving the efficiency and coordination of work within the UNITWIN Programme/UNESCO Chair in Ukraine.

In addition, this year Ukraine celebrates the 70th anniversary of its membership in the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

Taking into account, the need to preserve and support the existing achievements of the Programme, as well as to ensure expansion and innovative development, meeting participants have summed up the results of the work over the past year, analysed challenges and opportunities, discussed new areas of work and cross-sectoral cooperation with other UNESCO sectors.

On part of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, the meeting was attended by Sergiy Shukayev – Head of the International Projects Office, Scientific Secretary of the UNESCO Chair.
