Azerbaijani Ambassador delivers lecture to Kyiv Polytechnic students
The Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute continues its series of lectures delivered by foreign ambassadors. This time, a guest of honour getting into an open dialogue with Kyiv Polytechnic students was Seymur Gurban oglu Mardaliyev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Ukraine. He lectured on the Ukrainian-Azerbaijani strategic partnership.
During the lecture, the following issues were addressed:
- the importance of interstate relations and diplomacy;
- Azerbaijan’s political, economic, humanitarian, and energy support for Ukraine;
- the development of educational and scientific cooperation between the two countries;
- the post-Soviet legacy and Azerbaijan’s thorny path to independence.
Students displayed a lively interest in the meeting with Seymur Gurban oglu Mardaliyev and took part in an engaging question-and-answer session at the conclusion of his lecture.
