University of Orléans Assumes the Presidency of the European University ATHENA
During an official ceremony held at the University of Maribor (Slovenia), the University of Orléans formally assumed the presidency of the European University ATHENA for a period of one academic year.
The implementation of this mandate entails the coordination of strategic discussions among the presidents of the partner universities and the preparation of the alliance’s key events.
The University of Orléans’ programme of activities within the framework of this presidency includes:
- the establishment of double degree programmes to foster student academic mobility;
- the development of inter-university research teams;
- the launch of the “ATHENA Faculty Beyond Walls,” which will integrate education, research, innovation, and student life.
Throughout the term of its presidency, a series of international events will take place, aimed at strengthening cooperation and enhancing the visibility of the University of Orléans at the very heart of Europe.
