Happy Constitution Day of Ukraine!

On 28 June, Ukraine celebrates Constitution Day—a national holiday that symbolises the affirmation of independence, democracy, and the rule of law. For 30 years, the Constitution of Ukraine has served as the solid legal foundation of our state, defining its democratic development, safeguarding human rights and freedoms, and establishing the fundamental principles of public life and governance.

The Constitution proclaims the individual, their life and health, honour and dignity, inviolability and security as the highest social values. Today, these constitutional principles carry even greater significance as the Ukrainian people courageously defend their freedom, independence, and the right to live in their own sovereign state. Thanks to the resilience of Ukraine’s defenders, the unity of our society, and our unwavering belief in victory, Ukraine continues to stand firm in safeguarding its future.

The Constitution remains a guiding framework for building a strong, democratic, rule-of-law, and European state. Its values unite Ukrainians, reinforce respect for justice, responsibility, and mutual trust, and inspire us to work together for the prosperity and development of our country.
