Kyiv Polytechnic strengthens scientific, research ties with top Turkish companies

On 12 March 2023, the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute became the first destination for delegations from the RST company, led by its Chairman Kenan Özkapici, and the ONUR Group, led by its Founder and Chairman Onur Çetinceviz, during their visit to Ukraine. Accompanying the guests was Kyiv Polytechnic alumnus, Roman Hryshchuk, a present member of the Verkhovna Rada (Ukraine’s parliament) and co-chairman of the parliamentary group on inter-parliamentary relations with the Republic of Turkey, who facilitated a fruitful dialogue.

During the meeting, discussions focused on the prospective areas of cooperation, including:

  • Joint research in technical fields such as radio engineering, electronics, and artificial intelligence;
  • The implementation of innovative projects;
  • The involvement of Kyiv Polytechnic scientists, students, and graduates in important international initiatives.

The representatives of Turkish companies were enthused over the powerful potential of Kyiv Polytechnic as a flagship of engineering and technological progress. They emphasised the significance of such meetings for the development of science, education and business.

Hopefully, the next meeting with the Turkish partners will give Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute even more new horizons of cooperation between the academic community and the world’s leading companies.
