International Week, February 7-11, 2022

Events during the week:

  1.  Representatives of Igor Sikorsky KPI took part in an online meeting with representatives of the Ministries of Education and Science of Germany and Ukraine

During the conversation, the creation of joint centers of advanced research was discussed. Germany, as the leading center of science and innovation in Europe, has initiated the creation of a joint German-Ukrainian center of key competencies.

Among more than a dozen projects proposed by Ukrainian scientists, Igor Sikorsky KPI presented its own idea of ​​the Center of Excellence, which was developed by scientists of the Institute of Telecommunication systems and Insitute of Physics and Technology.

  1. Students at the Radio engineering Faculty began their studies under the certification program “Huawei Network Technologies”

The program envisages that students from the third to the fifth year will study in a dual form of education and get a chance to master practical skills directly in the partner company.

  1. The KPI Working Group, which organizes the interaction of KPI scientists with the European Clean Hydrogen Alliance, took part in the Alliance Forum, which discussed the opening of a competition to finance projects under the European Hydrogen Energy Program.

  1. Winter enrollment for online Japanese language courses at the Ukraine-Japan Center 2022 is opened:

The first is a short-term online course in spoken Japanese with a native speaker (Online-kaiwa Japanese);

the second one is a long-term special online course for beginners.

  1. The competition of Ukrainian-Israeli research projects for implementation in 2022-2023 has been announced.

Project proposals are accepted until March 15, 2022 in the following areas:

  • Applied Mathematics (Topological Materials; Applied Mathematics in number theory; Cryptography; Computer Mathematics);
  • Humanities: Jewish-Ukrainian Heritage and History)
