High-Level Meeting on the Future of European Universities Alliances

Five years since the launch of the European Universities Initiative, alliances of higher education institutions (HEIs) have demonstrated their transformative potential. The Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture (DG EAC) of the European Commission has invited the coordinators of European Universities alliances to this high-level meeting to discuss the achievements of the #EuropeanUniversities Initiative, address challenges, and outline the way forward.
Together with key stakeholders in higher education, policymakers, student organizations, and industry leaders, the European Commission and European Universities alliances will examine the key enabling factors that contribute to Europe’s sustainable prosperity and competitiveness, while also safeguarding democracy and promoting social justice.
