Kyiv Polytechnic representatives participate in Training Programme for Academic Managers
A team of nine academic managers from the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute has joined the second cycle of the Training Programme for Academic Managers. This programme is a unique initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (MoES), implemented by the British Council as part of the joint MoES and World Bank project Ukraine Improving Higher Education for Results Project.
The first modules focus on the role of a university in the context of societal transformations, its social mission, and strategising, as well as its contribution to the development of regions and local communities.
Trainings, panel and mentoring sessions, and practical tasks, along with participation in the next two modules on personnel development, finance management, and resource support of the university will enable participants to better design their change projects and present them in spring 2026.
The Kyiv Polytechnic team taking part in the Programme includes:
- First Vice-Rector Mykhailo Bezuglyi;
- Andrii Shysholin, Vice-Rector for International Relations;
- Anna Veremiichuk, Head of the International Relations Office;
- Vasyl Budko, Dean of the Faculty of Electric Power Engineering and Automatics; and others.
This marks the second time Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute has taken part in the Programme. The first team completed their training in spring 2025.
