KPI ranks second by citations in top Google Scholar profiles among Ukrainian universities

The Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (KPI) takes second place among Ukrainian higher education institutions with 213,459 citations in the latest edition of the Transparent Ranking. This marks a notable increase from last year’s figure of 166,164 citations, indicating a rise of nearly 50,000 citations.

In particular, Transparent Ranking assesses the number of citations from top 310 public profiles in Google Scholar, excluding the first 20.

An increase in the number of citations can be attributed to faculty’s publishing activity and the proactive promotion of research papers. This underscores KPI’s commitment to global engagement and the dissemination of knowledge.
