Scientists of KPI won a grant of the Horizon Europe program

The The Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (KPI) project titled “Creating an ecosystem of user devices and services for multi-sport training and remote healthcare using an artificial intelligence-based sensor network” (EU-TRAINS) won the EU Horizon Europe programme competition.

The project involves researchers from the Faculty of Electronics and the E.O. Paton Institute of Materials Science and Welding.

The amount of the grant is 315,100 euros, project co-managers: Associate Professor A.O. Popov and Professor S.M. Voloshko.

The peculiarity of this project is its strong interdisciplinarity: it will address the requirements for innovative technologies for the manufacture of practical and durable fabrics for sportswear based on a combination of ideas from sports hygiene, physical materials science and artificial intelligence.
