Join a Virtual Internship with Virtual Internships through the Twinning Initiative
Dear Students,
We are pleased to announce that, in the framework of the Twinning initiative, Virtual Internships is offering 50 sponsored remote internships for students from participating universities.
By taking this opportunity, you will have the chance to secure internships with international companies and gain the professional experience and skills needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving global economy, as well as actively engage in projects aimed at the post-war rebuilding of Ukraine. This targeted programme, in cooperation with Virtual Internships, provides a promising way to overcome challenges, create meaningful opportunities for students, and improve their employment prospects. Target audience: students seeking an internship with an international company to gain the relevant skills and experience necessary to enhance their competitiveness in the modern Ukrainian labour market.
Available career fields: Interns will be placed with international host companies operating in industries such as Business, Computer Science, Fashion & Design, Human Resources, and Marketing.
Duration: Internships starting on Monday, 7 April, and ending on Friday, 27 June, 2025 (12 weeks/10 hours per week).
Application Process
The application process will be open from Monday, 6 January to Sunday, 2 February 2025 (4 weeks). All interested students from participating universities will be invited to submit an application via a bespoke platform application link which will be circulated to universities on Monday, 23 December, 2024.
Applicants will be required to complete a short application, build an online profile, and record three short videos.
Placement Process
The placement process will start on Monday, 17 February with all interns placed by Monday, 31 March. Interns will be matched with host companies on the basis of their chosen career field and the skills they are seeking to develop as detailed in their application. Inters will have online interviews with host companies, if the interview is successful and the host company and intern wish to work together, the intern must accept the offer and will be provided with a VI approved Placement Project Plan. If the interview is unsuccessful the intern will re-enter the placement process.
VI Information Session
Virtual Internships will hold an Information Session on Tuesday, 5 November, 2024 at 15:00 EET for all interested universities and students. During this session, you will learn more about the company, the requirements for participation in the programme for students, the application process and selection criteria, as well as the opportunity to ask your questions.
The session will be recorded and sent out to the universities in Twinning.
