Attaché of French Embassy visits Kyiv Polytechnic
- Increasing the number of double degree programs;
- Launching new joint projects under the ERASMUS+ programme;
- Promoting research on the application of artificial intelligence in mechanical engineering, engineering, robotics, chemical technologies, rehabilitation, and additive technologies.
“Our Embassy offers all-round support to Ukraine and its higher education institutions. We are eager to discuss further steps to strengthen our cooperation and explore new opportunities to support your country, particularly Kyiv Polytechnic,” stated Héloїse Marmouset de la Taille. “Despite challenging external circumstances, your university continues to provide quality education and train highly skilled specialists.”
The diversified cooperation between Kyiv Polytechnic and France has been going on since 1998. The university hosts the Ukrainian-French Center, which is working flat out to deepen international ties with the country, as well as providing instruction in French to its students.
“Thanks to our partnership with three universities in France, we have a double degree program. Engineering specializations are attractive to our students owing to the opportunities to study abroad, and the prospects of getting a double degree,” noted Olha Ohurtsova, coordinator of Ukrainian-French projects at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
