Baykar Makina company with a visit to Igor Sikorsky KPI

An important meeting between representatives of the Igor Sikorsky KPI and the Turkish company Baykar Makina was held. The purpose of the visit was to discuss aspects of cooperation.

Previously, the company had already visited the university and talked about the characteristics of its own developments, in particular UAVs. It was then that the first ideas were laid about the cooperation model of Baykar Makina and Igor Sikorsky KPI, namely the creation of a joint design and research center for aerospace direction on the basis of the university and the launch of dual education programs.

This time, during the meeting, the parties agreed to create a joint educational and scientific center for the development of unmanned aerospace vehicles on the basis of the Institute of Aerospace Technologies of Igor Sikorsky KPI. The Center will carry out educational, scientific and innovative activities.

Also, the representative office of the company was very interested in the work of the innovative environment of Sikorsky Challenge. Now another meeting is planned for signing a memorandum of cooperation.
