Online meeting of representatives of American and Ukrainian universities

On May 3, an online meeting of representatives of American and Ukrainian universities took place. It was initiated by the University of Arizona to support the Ukrainian educational and scientific community and help it address the challenges posed by a full-scale war.

In addition to the KPI, the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, the Ukrainian Catholic University, Lviv Polytechnic, Karazin Kharkiv University, and the Kyiv School of Economics took part in the meeting. Representatives of each institution expressed their views on the support that US universities can provide.

The Rector of KPI Mykhailo Zgurovsky offered the partners cooperation in two priority areas for KPI. The first is research and innovation activities centered around the Sikorsky Challenge ecosystem. The second is space research. “Our university is interested in the development of space technology,” said the rector.
