Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Tops Rating Based on Accreditation of Educational Programs

According to the Center for International Projects “Euroeducation“, accreditation examinations carried out by the National Agency for Quality Assurance of Higher Education in higher education institutions of Ukraine (HEIs) most comprehensively and objectively characterize the effectiveness of Ukrainian universities. During accreditation examinations in higher education institutions, not only the procedures for implementing the educational process are analyzed, but also indicators of international project and grant activity, scientific and innovative work, academic mobility, educational and methodological support, personnel potential and other components that directly affect the place of higher education institutions in various international ratings.

Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute scores highest in the current ranking, which covered the five-year period from 2019 to 2023.

The ranking was conducted according to the following indicators:

• total number of accredited educational programmes;
• number of exemplary accredited educational programmes;
• number of conditionally accredited study programmes for a period of 1 year;
• number of non-accredited study programmes.
