Preparations underway for meetings with compilers of EngiRank

The International Collaboration Department (ICD) staff are gearing up for forthcoming meetings with the compilers of the new European Ranking of Engineering Programs (EngiRank) of European universities of technology. This ranking was designed by the Poland’s PERSREKTYWY Education Foundation for EU countries in 2023.

To gauge the sentiments of the rectors from technical higher education institutions (HEIs) of Ukraine regarding their readiness to participate in this ranking, it is necessary to first delve into the ranking methodology and subsequently explain it to the rectors who are members of the Association of Rectors of Technical HEIs of Ukraine.

If the rectors of Ukrainian universities are able and willing, the architects of the novel ranking will invite Ukraine to participate in the ranking commencing in 2024.

These matters will be discussed in Warsaw, including the niceties of the ranking methodology and its suitability for member-universities of the Association of Rectors of Technical HEIs of Ukraine.

In addition, a draft Memorandum of Cooperation with the ranking compilers is being prepared, outlining the terms of participation of the above Association and its member-universities in this ranking initiative.
