Webinar “EU Science Diplomacy Program and the War”
Representatives of Igor Sikorsky KPI took part in a webinar with a series of events launched by the European University Association (EUA) on major trends in international cooperation, European science policy and global higher education policy.
This webinar was dedicated to the topic “EU Science Diplomacy Program and War”. As stated in the annotation of the event: “Russia’s attack on Ukraine has had a profound effect on scientific diplomacy in Europe, coinciding with a new impetus by the European Union and its member states to develop a policy of international scientific cooperation. In this situation, what can we expect from the European Science Diplomacy Program? The answer to this question included such aspects of scientific diplomacy as the promotion of science-based foreign policy, the establishment of international scientific cooperation and the use of research to achieve foreign policy goals. The webinar discussed EU plans and how they interact with national policies and strategies in the university sector. “
