Lecture of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Japan, Professor Sergiy Korsunsky at Igor Sikorsky KPI

Is it possible to meet a person who is both a writer and an economist, a doctor of physical and mathematical sciences and a brilliant diplomat? Such a person – Mr. Serhiy Korsunsky. He presides over the Ukrainian diplomatic representation in Japan on the eve of the thirtieth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two states. And this is what allows him to enrich his lecture “Japan, which you do not know” with views on different sides and scales, unexpected facts and a lot of “notes on the fields” collected during his stay in Japan as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.

Mr. Korsunsky’s Japan is both the one that Ukrainians already know and love, and the one that is still unknown to most, or different from the generally accepted ideas. Mr. Ambassador has the experience, inaccessible even to those who study or work in Japan, but always willing to share it with those who are willing to listen.

Students of KPI and everyone interested in Japan were able to attend a lecture by Mr. Korsunsky on October 4 within the course “Actual problems of Asian communities” of the Faculty of Sociology and Law of KPI Igor Sikorsky. She gained such audience interest that the question and answer session lasted 45 minutes!
